RTW Terminal is a modern, efficient bulk storage facility located at the Port of Brownsville. RTW is proud to offer a wide range of terminal services to various industries with 31 insulated tanks equipped with air sparges and heating coils, and an overall storage capacity of 200,000 barrels. Tanks range in size from 1,300 barrels to 24,000 barrels to accommodate both small and large customer requirements. RTW Terminal currently inventories, receives and ships lubricating base oils, solvents, and wax and has the flexibility and customer service desire to accommodate your needs.

RTW Terminal is located at the Port of Brownsville at Oil Dock #3 and the 35 foot draft provides sufficient water depth to receive large ships and barges further enhancing the flexibility of our facility. Steam heating and eight (8) inch lines from the dock to our tank farm provide faster unloading of products from marine vessels. We are a service oriented terminal and we appreciate your business.

Phase one of our construction is now complete and the following list of items are all operational.

  • 200,000 barrels total storage capacity
  • 1 - 24,000 barrel insulated tank with heat and air sparges for blending
  • 9 - 12,000 barrel insulated tank with heat and air sparges for blending
  • 11 - 5,000 barrel insulated tank with heat and air sparges for blending
  • 6 - 1,500 barrel insulated tank with heat and air sparges for blending
  • 4 - 1,300 barrel insulated tank with heat and air sparges for blending
  • Electronic scales at loading rack for truck loading
  • Two truck loading racks
  • Rail car loading rack
  • Two rail spurs to accommodate 24 railcars on RTW property
  • Eight inch lines between terminal and barge / Ship unloading Dock #3
  • 65' X 14' mobile office complex
  • Laboratory complete with testing equipment
  • Boiler/Heating - Hot oil boiler system for tanks/steam for railcars barges
  • Transloading available from truck to truck, rail to rail, rail to truck
  • Approximately 40 barges and/or ships received during 2002
  • 950,000 barrels / 39,900,000 gallons received and shipped in 2002
